Agency Facilities does its part to uphold Vermont’s traditional hunting culture by working with the Fish and Wildlife Department to locate, design, and construct publicly accessible shooting ranges around the state. These ranges provide a safe environment for hunters, sportsmen and other firearm enthusiasts to sharpen their skills and fine tune their sights.
Our main goal is safety when designing a shooting range, but auditory pollution, environmental impact, and overall public good are other key elements to be considered in this type of infrastructure. After design is complete, Agency Facilities works with local and state governments to secure the necessary permits for construction. These ranges are built to accommodate shooting enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels and offer a variety of shooting options.
