General Application Process:
- The Permittee and/or Engineer will fill out the ANR Online NOI and Appendix A to determine the project risk score.
- The remaining application materials should be competed and submitted through ANR Online along with the application fee.
- The application will be administratively reviewed for completeness and Admin may reach out with comments and/or questions.
- Once the application is considered administratively complete, the project will be passed to the District Analyst for technical review.
- The application will be technically reviewed for completeness and the District Analyst may reach out with comments and/or questions. If there are no questions, the project will be marked technically complete. If there are comments or questions the project will be marked technically incomplete and placed on hold until all comments are addressed.
- Once the application is considered technically complete, the project will be put on a public notice period for 14 or 30 days, depending on the risk category. If there are no public comments during this period, the application will be authorized. If there are public comments during this period, the Analyst will provide response comments acknowledging that application revisions need to be made, or that the comments do not apply to the application.
- After the public notice period or public comments have been addressed, the project will be authorized to the Permittees. Construction cannot commence until the authorization is in hand.
