The Community and Municipal Assistance section of the Environmental Assistance Office (EAO) provides proactive assistance on town planning and zoning. The EAO recognizes the need to help communities and municipalities better understand and follow Vermont’s environmental laws, rules, regulations, and permits.
Our Community Assistance Specialists work directly with municipal officials and communities to share key environmental assistance messages, tools, and strategies. Our specialists help communities gain the knowledge, skills, and support they need to both thrive and support a clean environment for all.
