Following the review of comments received, the program is seeking to make additional changes to the operator certification portion of the Water Supply Rule. The isolated impacted section of the rule is available below. The program is also making changes to sections 21-3 and 21-4. These changes are administrative updates upon realization that the language did not reflect the way the program is handling permitting in practice and the language within the rule was not consistent with the governing statute. These are not substantive changes but purely administrative changes for the sake of clarity and to reduce ambiguity and confusion.
