Assists municipalities and water systems by developing outreach, education, and technical assistance to create actionable source water protection plans. Develops a pro-active program to reduce the risks of contamination for active or potential public water supplies, such as by assisting with groundwater reclassification to Class I or II. Assists in developing source water redundancy.

Nadine Demers - Emerging Contaminant Analyst

Analyses impact of PFAS and other emerging contaminants on Public Water Systems. Provides technical assistance to engineers on optimal treatment design to ensure consistent and effective treatment of PFAS across Vermont.

Maintains database integrity. Processes and determines eligibility for monitoring waivers. Receives public notice certifications. Participates in water operator training with related classes.

Joshua Gravlin - Compliance Analyst

Coordinates implementation and compliance for the Lead and Copper Rule and Disinfection Byproducts Rule for Community and NTNC systems. This includes sampling requirements, sampling location plans, compliance schedules, and violations. Trains water operators in related classes.

David Love - Compliance Analyst

Manages Revised Total Coliform Rule implementation and compliance, including review and approval of coliform sampling plans, and Boil Water Notice requirements for Public Community and NTNC water systems. Determines compliance with Ground Water Rule requirements for Community and NTNC systems. Addresses bulk water hauling and consumer complaints. 

Ana Hebert - Compliance Analyst

Provides technical assistance to schools and child cares who sample for lead in drinking water. Also provides compliance oversight for notification and education pertaining to the Lead and Copper Rule.

Jeff Girard - Compliance Analyst

Manages Revised Total Coliform Rule and Groundwater Rule compliance for public TNC systems. Provide guidance to TNCs on Boil Water Notices. Manages Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) and Public Notification Rules, including providing templates and processing CCRs and public notices received from systems. Participates in Operator Training.
