Kim McKee, Division Director
Directs the Administration and Innovation Division, which provides services for cross‐departmental functions to all programs within the Department of Environmental Conservation as well as our ECO AmeriCorps Program. Functions include DEC’s fiscal, administrative, human resources, and information technology services. Other activities involve close coordination with the Commissioner’s Office on departmentwide planning efforts and strategic initiatives.

Chief fiscal officer for the department. Oversees and coordinates department budget preparation, oversight of all department accounting functions. Development and oversight of fiscal office policies and procedures, financial statements, summaries and reports. Senior liaison with federal agencies and other state departments, provides guidance to the divisions for the overall creation and implementation of Department policy including formulating and recommending internal control and operating policies and procedures as needed.

Maressa Douse, Program Technician
Manages the receipt process and distribution of all DEC mail and packages.  Responsible for administrative tasks within the Administration and Innovation Division (AID) and the Water Investment Division (WID).  Manages requests and processes purchase orders for AID and WID upon request.  Administrative support for meeting stipends for the VT CAC, and occasional fleet interactions if needed for WID.  Responsible for any ARPA related administrative support for DEC.  Manages occasional document scanning and archival for WID and serves as backup for the safe storage and remote deposit scanning, and when necessary return of paper checks received by the department.

Manages the safe storage and remote deposit scanning, and when necessary return of paper checks received by the department.  Records liaison for all freedom of information act (FOIA) requests received for the Administration and Innovation Division (AID) and the Water Investment Division (WID).  Works with WID to line up translators when needed per the language access plan and to assist with tidying up closed captioning on video productions or public meeting recordings for the WID.  Manages occasional document scanning and archival for WID and serves as backup for package and mail handling for DEC.
