To close out the 2015-2016 Act 64 Brown Bag Lecture Series, Laura DiPietro from the Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets will be speaking about agricultural tile drains. This presentation is a new addition to the 2015-2016 Act 64 Brown Bag Lecture Series. Caroline Alves with the Natural Resource Conservation Service will be speaking about LiDAR and how the data is used to improve soil and water quality around the state. A continuation in the Act 64 Brown Bag Lecture Series, Emily Bird from the Vermont Clean Water Initiative Program will be speaking about tracking and reporting clean water progress. 11:00am - Noon in the Winooski Room at the Department of Environmental Conservation. Gina Campoli from the Agency of Transportation and Jim Ryan from the Department of Environmental Conservation will be presenting on "Stormwater Permits for Municipal Roads".

The first meeting of the Clean Water Fund Board will be held on Tuesday, September 8, at 11:00 AM at the Catamount Conference Room in the Davis Building at the National Life complex in Montpelier. The public is invited to attend and to submit comments beforehand.  The public will have another opportunity to comment when the Clean Water Fund Board releases a draft proposal on approximately October 1.
