Fiscal Year 2019 Design/Implementation Block Grant

The Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Clean Water Initiative Program is requesting proposals for supporting statewide partner(s) to administer a program that will facilitate the completion of design and implementation clean water improvement projects identified in DEC's Watershed Projects Database. There is $1,500,000 available for this block grant.

Ecosystem Restoration Grants

The DEC Clean Water Initiative Program is requesting proposals for the design and construction of water pollution abatement and control projects that target nonpoint sources of pollution. This grant round will include funds from Fiscal Years 2019 and 2020.

  • Release Date: February 15, 2019 
  • Questions Due: March 1, 2019 to ANR.WSMDERP@vermont.gov
  • Applications Due: March 18, 2019 by 4:00 pm EST; applications submitted by March 11, 2019 at 4:00 pm EST will be administratively reviewed, with an opportunity for applicants to resubmit.

Save the date! Applicants awarded in the upcoming ERP grant round are required to attend a mandatory grant recipient training Monday, May 13th from 1:00-3:00 pm. The training will review the process of grant agreement development and signing, grant agreement rules and requirements, invoicing, record keeping and more! This meeting will be held at the National Life Building in Montpelier with a webinar option available. Grant award notifications will include detailed information about this mandatory training.
