Join municipal staff for a Water Resource Recovery Tour of our recently refurbished 3.3 million gallon/day advanced treatment facility. Among other things, you will learn how the facility is working to improve the water quality of Lake Champlain, and how we use wastewater by-products to reduce our dependence on heat and electricity for the facility.

Exploring Aquatic Habitats

Host:  Groton State Forest

Location:  Boulder Beach State Park, 2278 Boulder Beach Rd, Groton, VT 05046

Event Description:  

Explore aquatic habitats, and learn about invasive aquatic plants with Meredith Eyre, Groton State Forest Interpreter. Practice aquatic animal and plant identification and explore the pieces of the complex aquatic ecosystem. For all ages.

Join us at the Nature Center for a movie and popcorn. We will wrap up Clean Water Week with Nature: American Eagle.
