In order to improve environmental protection, permitted underground storage tank (UST) facilities must complete an annual inspection of each UST system for compliance. The facility's A/B operator self-certifies that the each UST system is in compliance with the Vermont UST Rules. In order to self-certify, the facility must complete an A/B operator training course. The A/B operator completes the facility's self-certification by completing the inspection online through the UST Self-Certification webpage.
