After skillfully organizing VORS for many years, the Compost Association of Vermont (CAV) has stepped back from an organizational role in the upcoming 2017 VORS. LLSevents will take over the lead organizing role this year, in partnership with the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources Solid Waste Program.
Significant organic waste diversion deadlines in Vermont’s Universal Recycling Law (Act 148) are approaching, making VORS an invaluable educational and networking event for facilities, haulers, and food scrap generators.
