CLEAN WATER LECTURE SERIES: CLEAN WATER FUNDED PROJECTS FROM START TO FINISH

Thursday, March 31st 2022, 12:00-12:45 pm.

Join watershed planner Karen Bates for a presentation describing the components of a successful state funded clean water project from start to finish. Clean water projects address and improve water quality from many sectors. Using examples from agriculture, natural resources, developed lands, and forestry projects, Bates will describe the collaborative effort within our communities to protect and restore surface waters. Project success is facilitated by multiple community partners who ensure landowner concerns are addressed with necessary technical and financial assistance. In turn, the project pipeline fueled by the state’s Clean Water Funds and Agency’s associated guidance provides partners with the confidence to bring a project idea to completion.
