Act 64 Brown Bag Lecture

Improving Water Quality through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program

The Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) provides financial and technical assistance to forest and agricultural landowners to develop and implement water quality improvement projects. In this unique public-private partnership, together more than 25 organizations, state agencies, and businesses were awarded a $16 million grant from the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) for an RCPP project in the Lake Champlain Basin of Vermont. Join Alli Compagna, DEC's Lake Champlain RCPP Coordinator, to learn about project initiatives and accomplishments, and funding details and eligibility. Alli will also highlight the six other RCPP projects in the state.

This will be the final lecture in the 2016-2017 Clean Water Initiative Brown Bag Lecture Series. We'll announce lecture topics for the 2017-2018 series, which will begin in September, over the summer.

To attend in person in the Winooski Room (M-240), National Life Building, Montpelier, RSVP to anr.cleanwatervt@vermont.gov or call Bethany at 802-490-6131.  Attend remotely through Skype for Business.
