January 6, 2020
Call for Priority List Applications
Vermont CWSRF and DWSRF Programs

*This notice is slightly resolved to fix the link to the CWSRF priority list application.*
The CWSRF and DWSRF programs are requesting submittal of applications for projects to be listed on this year's Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Funds' Project Priority Lists.  Completed applications must be submitted by February 24, 2020.

Important changes to this year's CWSRF and DWSRF process:
The priority list deadline is firm.  No applications will be accepted after 2/24/2020.
A project must have submitted a draft preliminary engineering report (PER) to the Infrastructure Financing Programs in order to be included on a priority list for construction funding.  As always, planning funding is available at anytime.
If you do not have a PER please just submit page one and two of the Priority List Application.
For the CWSRF: A Priority List Application must be completed for each existing and new project each year.  The completed applications must be submitted via email to ANR.CWSRFplist@vermont.gov. For questions regarding the CWSRF program please contact Tom Brown at thomas.brown@vermont.gov or by phone at (802) 622-4205.

For the DWSRF:
A Priority List Application must be completed each year.  The completed applications must be submitted via email to ANR.DWSRFplist@vermont.gov
If you have questions regarding the DWSRF program please contact Celia Riechel at celia.riechel@vermont.gov or by phone at (802) 585-4904

The CWSRF program can fund municipal and private traditional wastewater and stormwater projects, such as wastewater collection system and treatment facility construction, upgrade, or refurbishment projects; combined sewer overflow (CSO) elimination and stormwater treatment, as well as water and energy efficiency or environmental innovation; community decentralized wastewater disposal systems; watershed projects; and solid waste projects and brownsfields projects where they relate to water.  For more information on the CWSRF program and other funding opportunities administered by the Water infrastructure Financing Programs, please refer to our Web Site

The DWSRF program provides low and no interest loans to municipalities and privately-owned public water systems for planning, final design and construction of water system improvements that protect public health and facilitate compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA).  For more information on the DWSRF program and other funding opportunities administered by the Water infrastructure Financing Programs, please refer to our Web Site

Please note that applying to be on the priority list is not applying for a loan and does not guarantee a loan.

We look forward to assisting you with your infrastructure funding needs.
Sincerely,
The Vermont Water Infrastructure Financing Program Team
