The Vermont water operator exam is administered simultaneously at two locations, twice a year, in the spring and fall. Registration is required.

To register, complete the form and submit to the Drinking Water and Groundwater Protection Division at the address at the bottom of the application. If applicable, include a check or money order payable to the “State of Vermont”.
Computer Based Exams
The Association of Boards of Certification (ABC) and PSI Online provides certified computer-based exams that may be scheduled at various locations in Vermont and throughout the country at the convenience of the examinee. Please note the Division is not involved in this system and therefore cannot offer technical support for registering or taking the computer-based exams.
