COVID-19 and DWSRF/CWSRF
The DEC Water Investment Division (WID) has compiled "Frequently Asked Questions: COVID-19 and CWSRF/DWSRF" (updated April 27, 2020). Please refer to these FAQs for information on loan repayment suspension, how the SRFs are changing operations, and potential stimulus questions.
The Agency of Natural Resources (ANR) Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is working to understand the COVID-19 State of Emergency’s impact on grant, contract, and loan agreements, both active and pending. We want to assure you that we are examining the challenges that the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order, issued by the Governor on March 25th, may pose to these agreements.

For COVID-19 and Active Agreements
We understand COVID-19 may cause impacts to agreement timelines and the successful completion of active agreements. DEC staff will be contacting grantees, contractors, and loan recipients with more information and guidance on next steps in the coming weeks. Please stay-tuned for more information.
For COVID-19 and Pending Agreements
The Department is evaluating unexecuted funding commitments due to possible budgetary impacts of COVID-19. This applies to agreements and amendments not yet signed/executed. Grantees who may be incurring costs under pending agreements are advised to stop all spending until further notice.
