Asset Management Programs use asset inventories, life-cycle cost analyses, risk assessments, and financial planning to set priorities and help meet level of service goals in a cost-effective manner. An effective program can help Vermont's public drinking water systems meet the challenges they face.
The Environmental Assistance Office helps Vermont businesses and other entities improve environmental performance and minimize negative environmental and public health impacts through direct technical assistance, strategic partnerships, cultivation of knowledge- and resource-sharing networks, and recognition of environmental leadership. Through these efforts, we aim to build a culture of environmental responsibility and excellence.
