Member Expectations

  • Members are expected to create and maintain a safe space for each other's thoughts, experiences, opinions, identities, cultures, and backgrounds, and to be aware of their own assumptions and biases.

  • Members are expected to treat others how they want to be treated and be conscious of varying communication styles, pronouns, and other preferences.

  • Members can expect to be challenged. Opportunities to grow, listen, and learn are a cornerstone of the ECO experience.
  • Members are expected to navigate and provide feedback for positive personal and program experience outcomes. Giving and getting support is key to ECO's functioning.
  • Members can expect to feel comfortable bringing their whole self to service.
